Olokele project 1902-1903

Design drawings, progress charts and a photograph documenting the Olokele Aqueduct project, one of the major irrigation design and construction projects that Michael M. O'Shaughnessy oversaw during his time in Hawaii. His Assistant Engineer on the project was William Sauer, who was a Civil Engineering Graduate of U C Berkeley, and his team included Edward Rogers, and A J Glennan. O'Shaughnessy's memoir 'Engineering Experiences: From Honolulu to Hetch Hetchy' gives a vivid account of his experiences on this project.
